There are places you visit, and there are places you immediately feel connected to. Lloret de Mar is definitely one of them.
I absolutely love this place. Sitting on the beach, stretching into a split and looking out at the Mediterranean, I can feel why I keep coming back to this atmosphere.
What I especially love about Lloret de Mar is the combination of the sea and the pine trees. The air has that incredibly fresh, clean pine aroma that mixes with the salty Mediterranean breeze. It is something you can actually feel when you breathe.
And there is always a certain feeling of celebration here. The sunshine, the colours, the sea, the people, the music and the energy of the town create an atmosphere that makes you want to smile.
So yes, this is me doing the splits on the beach — but honestly, I couldn't think of a better place to do it. 😄
